My journey in events began over 13 years ago and I’ve been grateful to be a part of the ‘happiness business’ ever since. As a marketing and events professional, I specialize in brand strategy, experiential marketing, event production, sponsorship fulfillment and project management. I pride myself on producing experiences that create connections, excitement and engagement.
My background includes agency work on various high-profile projects such as Red Bull Crashed Ice, Chicago Gourmet Culinary Festival, American Airlines Inaugural Events, døTERRA Global Conference, American Eagle Outfitters Grand Opening and countless others. Through this diverse portfolio of events, I learned the importance of communication, providing exceptional client service and delivering on the customer experience.
Most recently I worked for an in-house agency at Groupon. Working from within the brand, my focus transitioned to the marketing side of special events, aimed at driving consumer and merchant demand, engagement and preference. I managed high-profile B2C and B2B programming, as well as large scale internal events across top markets in North America --- programs such as Camp Groupon, Movie Night at Wrigley Field, sponsorships at South Beach Wine & Food Festival, guerilla marketing programs, global company meetings, etc. In addition to program management, I led the Events team’s experiential strategy across business units including ideation, roll out plans, department budgets, and tracking.
Currently, I'm enjoying freelancing; offering a full range of event services for corporate, social & non-profit industries. From strategy to execution, I have a proven track record of creating innovative and polished programming. I look forward to discussing how I can add my passion and expertise to your team.
Fun Facts: I’ve de-thorned 100 red roses for the fans of Boys II Men. Got a horse into a nightclub for a CEO's grand entrance. Eaten ‘thank you’ cupcakes courtesy of Taylor Swift. Danced on stage with Salt-N-Pepa. Had my first (& last) taste of brain tartare at Grand Cochon 555. Broke a Guinness World Record at Wrigley Field. Got a contact high from the Marley Family. Felt vertically challenged standing next to Michael Jordan & Larry Bird at USA’s Olympic Dream Team conference. I’ve hot air ballooned, trapezed, had a 3D rendering of my head created --- ALL IN THE NAME OF WORK.
